Not to be disconnected with Will "The Fresh Prince" Smith's more long-familiar DJ partner of the same nominate, rapper Jazzy Jeff left wing the Funky Four for a passing solo calling in the mid-'80s. His only album, On Fire (1985), was famous for its intelligent lyrics and lack of over-the-top machismo.
