Comedian Ken Dodd recovering in hospital
Comedian Ken Dodd has been forced to cancel a number of shows afterwards being admitted to infirmary.
The 80-year-old star has had a herniation operation at a Liverpool infirmary, according to his spokesperson Henry M. Robert Sherlock Holmes, wHO as well confirmed that Dodd will be back on microscope stage next month.
A voice for the Royal Liverpool Hospital said: "I've just spoken to him and he told me to say he expects to be home in a duo of days."
Dodd was reportedly taken to hospital on New Year's Even after his sell out public presentation at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall.
